This used to be a Hometown Buffet. The restaurant looks quite new. They have the second best dim sum in town. The best thing on the menu is the chive dumplings.

the best dim sum in the city of elk grove !! their chicken feet dish is by far the best in the west (or east) !! dishes were not too expensive and came in the normal 3 or 4 pieces in a tray. jasmine tea was $1 per person. overall... not a shabby place to bring visitors.

Wow, it is fantastic! Loved shrimp dumplings, yam cake, and chicken feet especially, and the desserts were amazing, The black sesame balls were the best I have had. I know when they opened, and they had lines around the block, they were overwhelmed, but they have gotten rid of the hitches, and it's unbelievably good!
